Q: Will I receive confirmation that my child is registered for a camp or training session?
A: YES. You will receive a phone call to; confirm your registration, answer any additional questions or arrange a training schedule.
Q: What should my child bring to camp?
A: Full Day and Half Day Campers should arrive dressed to play soccer in shorts, t-shirts, shin guards, socks and cleats or tennis shoes. We recommend sunscreen be packed also. Each Camper should bring a soccer ball and a water bottle; water coolers are provided at all camps. Half Day Campers should bring a snack. Full Day Campers should bring a snack and a lunch. Full Day and Half Day Campers receive an Adidas Eagles Soccer Academy T-Shirt.
B: Overnight Campers should bring plenty of soccer clothing, a soccer ball, water bottle, sunscreen, alarm clock, all linens and pillows, bathing and bathroom items, any medications necessary, and spending money. Overnight Campers receive an Adidas Eagles Soccer Academy T-Shirt.
Q: Where do I register/check-in to drop-off and pick-up my child?
A: All camps and training sessions take place at Reinhardt College Soccer Fields, unless otherwise determined. Pick-up and drop-off is at the soccer fields.
B: Overnight Campers, once on campus, follow the signs to Soccer Registration.
Q: Is there a trainer on site?
A. A certified athletic trainer is on site during all scheduled camps. The personal health questionnaire must be completed in order for a player to be able to participate in any camp.
Q: Is there any free time?
A: Full Day and Half Day Campers are actively playing or learning soccer the entire time. Plenty of water breaks are provided for the players to stay properly hydrated but there is no free time for other activities.
B: During the Overnight Camps, there is basically no free time. Campers are continually busy playing or learning soccer from breakfast until after the evening games.
Q: What type of supervision do you provide?
A: Full Day and Half Day Campers are supervised by staff members during the entire camp. No one is allowed to leave the designated playing areas. Group breaks for water and bathroom needs are also supervised.
B: Overnight Campers are supervised 24 hours a day: on the fields, in the dorms and in the cafeteria.
Q: Are teams welcome?
A: YES. We will accept teams or groups at all camps or private training sessions. Please designate on your application if you are attending as part of a team or group.
Q: Are individuals welcome at Team Camp?
A: YES. Please designate if you are an individual attending the Team Camp so that we may assign you to a team of similar age.
Q: Is Goalkeeper training available?
A: YES. Goalkeeper training is available. Goalkeepers will receive specialized training sessions during all camps and then rejoin their teams for games.
Q: Can parents or coaches watch the sessions?
A: YES. All sessions are open to parents and coaches.
Q: Does my child need any spending money?
A: Overnight Campers may need extra money for the camp Snack Bar, Reinhardt Bookstore, and the Soccer Camp Store. Some campers may wish to order pizzas for a late night snack.
